Horrible, horrible experience! We used them because they had handicapped wheelchair accessible vans. My friend has ALS and is connected to a breathing machine. They were supposed to pick us up at a specified time and left us hanging for two hours with no pickup time at least for another hour beyond that and maybe more. They were rude and unsympathetic. The restaurant had closed and the battery was on the standby pack. We were helpless and they didn't care at all. Told us to call 911 if we needed a ride any sooner. Called a yellow cab number and that is apparently them also. If I could give negative stars, I would. However, this won't let you post a review with less than one star. It was an absolutely horrifying experience.
Don't trust this company. I scheduled a pickup two hours in advance. Three hours later, still no airport taxi--even after promises on the phone that a driver had nearly arrived.
Again, being a former employee with this company, this is something I have experienced a lot. The drivers are rude and irresponsible for their actions. They not only treat the employees with the utmost disrespect, but they also treat the customers the same, if not worse. And when this issue gets brought up to higher management, their response is: "Well, we need the drivers. Without the drivers, there is no company".
I would have missed my overseas flight if my cousin hadn't rescued me at the last minute.
2) There is no management who can help you on the spot.
How did the company respond? They stopped answering my phone calls.
A lot of people like the idea of the wheelchair accessible taxis they offer, until they go and order one. "Standard" wait time is 45 minutes, so they say. But in all reality it can take much longer than that. Even if you call ahead and "prearrange" a taxi, you still could be waiting a while for a taxi to even accept the order. I've seen some wheelchair accessible taxis wait up to 4 hours, before the customer finally gave up and cancelled the ride.
Say your card gets charged twice the amount it should have. Well, you have to leave a message with the "Customer Service" line, wait for your message to be listened to (which could take awhile), and then wait for a call back from management. They want you to jump through hoops in order to get your money back, how thoughtful.
5) The drivers do and say whatever they please.
Airport Taxi MN never showed up.
4) Wheelchair accessible taxis.
If you are a regular, you may notice that your taxi rarely shows up on time. And when you call to see what's taking so long, the representative says "Sorry about that, we'll put a priority on it right away". Yeah, they just say that to get you off the phone. There is no such thing as a priority.
3) There is no such thing as a "Priority".
If you have any complaints or concerns about any of the staff there, you get transferred to a recorded line. And maybe once a week they will check the recordings, and if it is not anything major, your message gets deleted.
1) Their "Customer Service" is a voicemail recording.
ZERO STARS Care Cab was set up by the VA hospital to transport my 97 year old mother from the hospital to a care center. The van arrived a full hour late with the excuse that traffic was bad. I would expect professionals to take into account traffic at 4 PM. The driver didn't have a clear idea of a direct route to get from one location to the other. When my mother was dropped off, the driver took her to the correct building but the wrong door. There are two distinct addresses. I waited at the door with the correct address. Both my mother and I were distraught. I thought my mother and driver were lost - my mother thought she was at the wrong location because I wasn't there. It was an awful experience.
Being a former employee with this company, I will tell you the truth about how things work around there.
The Uber or Lyft app on your phone will get you to the airport on time and you'll pay less money.
Always get good rides and nice people
Do you really want to spend your money with a company who doesn't have the customers as their top priority?
