Quality you can expect from the Hilton system. Good access to parking even though it's in the center of the city. Solid front desk staff. Clean, spacious, well organized room. Good fitness center, well taken care of.
Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a wonderful view. The only complaint I have is that our corner room had a difficult time getting to a comfortable temperature. Had it set to 78 degrees Fahrenheit all night, but still woke up several times from the chill. Otherwise, great hotel!
Although the room itself was nice and spacious and the location great, I truly have never had worse service at a hotel. Our reservation had "Breakfast Included" on it, yet when I tried to get breakfast, I was charged 20$ per person and then berated by the lobby receptionists. Although when I made the reservation (and called the day before to double check) I specified that there were 6 people in the room; I was yelled at by the receptionists for not "appropriately writing down the names of everyone staying with me." They told me , and I quote: "We should NEVER have to be giving out six free breakfasts." We also did not receive blankets for the pull out bed, and when we asked for an extra blanket, we were told they "ran out." Finally, when checking out, although the room was prepaid, I was charged a 287$ bill . When I contested this, the same receptionists told me to call the financial aid person, rather than them helping me. I have never received worse service or been treated as terribly as I was at this hotel. I will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Good location and the rooms are nice. Biggest complaint is the inability to control the temperature in the hotel. I stayed here in the summer and they were unable to keep my room cool. I don't like it too cool (70 degrees) but the room was unable to get below 77.
I stayed there recently and the restaurant was so cold that people were in stocking caps and coats at the tables. The waitress said that it was normal and if we want it warmer we need to speak to the front desk. My hotel room was also very cold and the person at the front desk said it was common on my floor and that they offer space heaters to guests in those rooms. They came with a space heater and it would not turn on so they needed to get another one. Overall the people were friendly though.
I was extremely pleased with the room. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Checking in was pleasant, but after being out late at meetings, I came back to find I needed to use my room card to get in the outside door. I could not find where the sensor was located. The same person that checked me in just hours before was still at the desk. She and a security guard were making hand gestures and shouting, but there was music playing and the speaker was right above the door. I could not hear them and didn't understand their gestures. Luckily, another guest came up and figured out we needed to turn around. The sensor was on a pillar behind us. The note on the door SHOULD include this simple information. The people working inside could have walked the 10 yards to the door to help me. Instead they joked once I was inside. The restaurant was nice. I just had appetizers, but they were tasty. The chili was fantastic. I could tell it was made fresh before the server told me it was made fresh daily.
