Stayed two nights at this location for a mini-vacation so my wife and I could enjoy the NHL. No complaints whatsoever; we slept well, the king bed and room was nice. It was a little different it was a corner room that overlooked the city. The bathroom seemed to have some wasted space, although I am not sure what you could do with it. The exercise room overlooks the city and the pool, both on the 14th floor. Staff was pleasant and Platinum member get points and a market item (BONUS). We used the business center for a couple of hours, 4 PCs by the Bistro, printed some house hunting work while enjoying our Starbucks, No issues again. Nice location as it was about 15 minutes to the excel energy center, about 20 to the Mall of America with plenty of eateries nearby. Onsite parking in the garage will run you $17 a day. The location is great. It's very close to a lot of things downtown. The rooms were really nice and the beds were very comfy. Staff was very friendly as well. The pool is kinda small, but it's on the 14th floor so you get a pretty neat view of the river. The is no Continental breakfast, but there is a bar restaurant in the lobby where you can order food.
We got two adjoining rooms. They were updated and modern with big TVs. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable for everyone, but some in our group didn't like the soft pillows. More mirrors in the rooms would be great as well.
The facility is modern and up to date. It’s close to everything. The house keeping staff went above and beyond and did everything possible to accommodate me when I needed it. The receptionist at the front desk could use more customer service skills. I had an incident that happened and I felt as thought they could’ve done more but instead had me in the lobby for two hours trying to troubleshoot by myself. When finally somebody on a new shift tried figuring new ways to solve the issue and accommodate me. Doesn’t matter how gorgeous the place look, if customer service is lacking. But overall I liked the amenities and location !
They were very accommodating to make sure we felt comfortable during our stay. They even opened the Starbucks which was closed at the time to get my sick husband some tea. Definitely recommend this hotel!
