Lucy's is now my favorite Ethiopian place and I will be visiting often.
I like everything about Lucy's: the bright cheerful atmosphere, the location, the delightful people there, and the delicious Ethiopian food. Both visits I've gotten the vegetarian combo, and it was delicious: it had shiro, cabbage and carrot, lentils with beriberi, split peas, and greens. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. And the baklava!!!! I love most baklava but I REALLY love Lucy's baklava, baked with love each morning. Get it early before they run out! I am thrilled to have this family run joint in the neighborhood.
Such a cute place, the woman who serves here is super super nice. The food is amazing and everything is well priced. Usually not busy, more people need to come here!!!!
As an Ethiopian, I am very picky when dining out. Lucy's was a pleasant surprise. Authentic and home made style. I'm glad to have this right in my neighborhood.
I drove by Lucy's and decided to stop by on a whim. I am so glad I did! I had the alcha sega wot with a side of gomen wot. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. This is the first Ethiopian place I've found in the Twin Cities that does *not* leave the bone in the beef, for which I am grateful.
