Like every restaurant, you'll have days of overall good service and days of poor service. Unfortunately, this location has a pay-at-the-table device that allows the serving staff to ignore you after the first check in. Expect you water glass empty and all of your questions directed to the touchscreen device at the table. "Oh you can order refills on the tablet" but they don't pay attention and you're thirsty for 20 min as the waitress never bothers to walk by your table.
We were there on Wednesday and the bartender was annoyed that we were there along with the others at the bar. He had zero personality or tolerance for anyone or anything. There was an overwhelming sewer smell throughout the night that we brought up to the manager. He also was condescending. We didn't feel welcome and won't be returning.
Terrible service. Apparently only one waiter, he did come to our table a couple of times, but had to wait forever to get him to our table to pay. The machine wasn't working. It probably didn't help that we were behind a wall and out of sight out of mind apparently! On a good note the food was good. Just need more help even on the "off" hours.
OK, I returned 3 weeks later and I was not happy with the visit. Service was slow and the food was cold. The first time I came here I couldn't understand the poor reviews, but I get it now. With the number of options available in this area it will be a while before I return again.
The good thing about this Applebee's is that you'll be seated very quickly because no one's there. The bad thing about this Applebee's is that you will wait about an hour for your food, even though no one's there. They employ tablet-like computers at tables that let you order your food electronically. This is supposed to be convenient, but emphasis on the "supposed" - they take a while to figure out and don't always work too well. The waitstaff was unenthused, confused, and there were about 2 people working at peak hours. When my food came, the order was wrong and nobody could figure out how to get me what I actually wanted.
The only saving grace was that the food wasn't horrible, but it's Applebee's. It's not great either.
Third time is the absolute worst. I brought my family this time. We arrived at 4:40 pm. It was not busy at all. Got seated immediately. We didn't get our drinks until 5:05. The rest of the experience was just as slow. Awful. Never did order food.

Seated immediately, had a beer within 3 minutes of sitting down, dinner was on the table before I could finish the beer. Food was fine. Will return.
