Okay. First stop for a meal and something to take the chill off from the cool fall air. Was greeted by the coolest host who was dressed in a shiny red suit coat that meant business. Sat at the bar and my bartender Ryan was amazing. Super chill guy with the right mix of friend and cool. Drinks were mixed perfectly (gin and tonic) and my Ike's special burger was top notch. It looked like everyone in the place was having an enjoyable experience. Mine was amazing. Cheers Ryan!
A very nice man named Marcus who works at Mayo Clinic Square took me to Ike's after he suggested their food for breakfast. The steak was well done and absolutely immaculate. The only issue I had was that there was only one waiter and she seemed to forget everything. The place had about only 5 tables of people being served and on one plate they forgot to add cheese. The pancakes are very thin and the syrup tastes very close to sugar.. too sweet for my liking. The lights are dim and a very romantic setting. I would absolutely go back just for the steak.
Saturday brunch is fab! Eggs anyway you want (I took mine Eggs Benedict) with an unlimited supply of cakes, bacon, sausage, & hash browns. Plates overflowed with real maple syrup. Don’t forget the ginormous caramel roll as a starter. Come hungry, you won’t be disappointed. Easy to find right downtown off of 6th & Nicolett
Nice cozy place. We do the morning brunch/family all you can eat on occasion. Service is always good, and food is always hot and tasty. Can't say much more, enjoy coming here. Make a reservation though, it'll save you a wait.
Great drinks, friendly waitresses, awesome cinnamon roll, bloody Mary's make it well worth the drive and walk
