Many people say they didn’t feel safe and I agree. No oversight of someone buying another person a drink and no response when the person gets a drug in one; only saying they drank too much. With the “saloon hotel,” which I hope they ended the month or long term rentals to stop the “escorts” and drug dealers in the hotel.
One of the best gay bars in town and so versatile for different crowds... different bars and rooms to accommodate the type of night you’re looking for!
Very unprofessional staff- I went to the Saloon last Thursday night December 28th. Two of my friends and I had ordered food from the kitchen at exactly 2:08am and the kitchen employee told us that it would be about 10 minutes before it would be ready. I ran to the restroom quick and tried walking back towards the food room and one of the security staff members started physically pushing me towards the front of the bar. I tried explaining to him that I had ordered food and he said, "I don't care" and kept pushing me. I called the Saloon the next morning to leave a message with an employee for a manager to call me back and I still haven't received a call back. It really goes to show that treating their customers well is not a priority. I will never go back to this establishment and I will be sure to share my experience with everyone.
Absolutely one of the best places to go if your looking for a goodnight out: yes it’s a club scene but they also have different parts of the bar you can get different experiences. The kitchen has great prices for quick drunken-tasty-food. The drinks are trouble the trouble for the price of one. The staff is great once you find your favorite bartender. Overall a great place.
Always a decent time going to the Loony Bin (The Saloon) great drinks, staff is mostly friendly and provides great laughs. I don't make it down there too often anymore but whenever I do make it I feel like it's a warm welcome.
