The Bachelor Farmer Cafe is one of my favorite spots in the Twin Cities for its prime location in the historic North Loop, great environment, and seriously good espresso drinks & pastries.

Got a cold brew and loved it. I guess you could say this is a bit of a streamlined, "no frills" kind of coffee shop, and that's just how I like it. They have a small menu of sweet and savoury snacks and a few impressively delicious specialty espresso beverages, nothing along the lines of the ridiculous combinations of flavour syrups and obnoxious blended smoothie frappawhatchamacallits at the big chains. Oh yeah, the croissant here is a real gem!

Moose and Sadies or Freehouse are better brunch options in the neighborhood.

Red flags should have been that they were out of juice and offered La Croix instead, and that they can't make a bloody Mary, just a limited cocktail menu, beer, and wine. Who wants a Negroni or G&T for breakfast?

The Bachelor Farmer is great, Marvel Bar is great. TBF used to have a great brunch, but they stopped and opened this cafe. Coffee is good, but I can get a good coffee elsewhere nearby.

If you are looking for a great spot with indoor & outdoor seating & great coffee, this place is a must visit.

Really great coffee and pastries in the North Loop! The space is kind of small so during winter you might struggle to find a spot. Still there wait is worth it with great coffee and even more amazing baked goods like cookies, breads and rolls. Prices are in line with what you would expect from a higher end spot and service from the baristas is top notch. Definitely a great spot to visit. Two thumbs up.

I order an iced vanilla latte every time and every time it's awesome (consistency is hard to come by in some coffee shops). The pastries are baked fresh and always look good. And, while I have not ordered from the lunch menu, the small plates always look really good (yet, expensive).

Always a lovely experience. Great coffee. Amazing pastries. Perfect decor.

The food is not good. I think they just get day old Rustica, which is otherwise delicious, bread and pastries and resell. It is as if they do not have an oven. Two of us ordered the brunch special sandwich with eggs and bacon and radish on a baguette. Sounds great! But instead was a rock hard baguette with cold bacon and cold eggs. I also had the butternut squash soup. It was room temperature soup...not hot, not chilled, just room temp. Weird.
