Fancy lobby, comfy seating. I was there for Fringe 2017, regular shows appeared to be moderately priced.
This is our favorite theatre in the Twin Cities. Excellent shows, reasonably priced, and we love the feel of a smaller theatre.
We love everything about this place! The lineup of shows they do is supurb. The talent is, well...incredibly talented. This is a local gem of a theatre. So much more casual and quaint, as compared to the Orpheum, State, etc. Not that those are bad...but this offers a smaller experience where you are closer to the actors, and more drawn into the experience, with the same level of talent. In addition, Area restaurants are excellent, so this makes for the perfect evening out.
I've been here for a few productions, my favorite being one of "the man of la mancha," the theater is comfortably small creating a personal environment. The building has a beautiful rustic look that makes it unique. Because of the productions, it is usually an older audience with a few teenagers. And yes, it is wheelchair accessible. I hope you enjoy.
Ritz is such a great landmark in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis arts district.Be sure to put this one on your not to miss list and make sure you get to the Ritz at least once.
