Most horrible manager in the world. We ordered the biryani for two and we were confused on the order. The manager refused to take back the order and charged us. When the waiter tried to help she bullied them and said she will call her senior manager and see what she can do. She comes back a few mins later and says actually the senior manager is my husband and he’ll definitely say no. She was a racist and I know we looked like bums and we had hoodies but it was -12 outside. Plus we eat Indian food all the time. The way she treated us black folks compare to the other customers was just weird. The waiters are awesome and if you’re any race except black you should definitely go. If you’re black don’t get your order wrong.
The food here is incredible, the service is good and the owners are really nice. I cannot praise this place enough! If you eat here, you will be happy with your decision.

I dine out at Indian/Himalayan restaurants often and the food here is very good at a reasonable price.
Ambiance could use some improvement and they could Really use a "cold weather vestibule". Seems to be ideal for takeout.
India Palace made me fall in love with Indian food. I don't normally mess with buffets, but obviously that's the best way to taste all your favorites without paying $100 and having massive amounts of leftovers. Naan on the buffet instead of being made to order like they used to do in times past isn't great because sometimes it's not hot, or it's sort of hard, but at least I'm not wasting an entire order when I really just wanted one more triangle. My favorite dish is chicken makhani, but when the chef makes the chicken into meatballs. Close second is Gobi Manchurian, but it's hardly on the buffet line. It's all good though. And please folks, don't take your already eaten off of plate back to the buffet. Get a new plate, were you raised by wolves?
Lunch/buffet costs is reasonable. There is a nice variety of food and everything is delicious. Lot parking is hit or miss, but there is plenty of parking right on Hennepin (if you don't mind the traffic). Vegitarian options plenty.
