My boyfriend loves this place. They have a wall of select alcohols you can try before you buy, staff with in depth knowledge on each section, and an indulgent selection to choose from.
They seem to have everything. They may have less inventory than the big-box liquor stores, but somehow they have better selection. Their prices are amazing on some really unexpected finds, and competitive on everything. This is not your typical neighborhood liquor store, it is a neighborhood gem.
It's got to be the best family owned beer, wine and liquor store in Minneapolis. Big enough to have whatever you are looking for, not so big you feel lost. Extremely well informed customer service who are available to help. Wonderful craft beer selection. But same with wine and whiskeys. Decent prices.
If you are looking for a 1.75L of simple alcohol such as Captain Morgan this is NOT the place for you. I have been to this liquor store numerous times and they have been out of the 1.75L size of Captain Morgan almost every time. For how expensive this liquor store is you would think they could keep a basic alcohol in stock. I'm not asking for a small batch of whiskey from the 1700s made by Ben Franklin, I am just asking for simple rum. I will gladly drive farther to avoid going to this liquor store. They may have an excellent wine selection but I do not drink it.
Fabulous neighborhood liquor store. Lots of local spirits and craft beers. And they allow dogs in the store so it's a perfect stop on an afternoon walk along the parkway!
