Glad they finally addressed the issue of people taking all the parking spaces to go drink coffee all day! Made it better for people that are actually there to shop. On top of that there’s a good selection for a small store.
Decent selection. Quick parking, free.
Poor customer service, predatory pricing model, regular towing cars from the lot. No need to spend your money there when there are plenty of other stores nearby.
PREDATORY PARKING LOT BEHAVIOR.
I understand that during working hours they cannot have people taking up the spots in their lot, as it’s a small lot. I do not see any practical reason why they employ someone to prey on people when the business is closed, and will be closed for hours.
I parked my car for less than five minutes in the lot to run a quick errand hours before the store was to open. It took them less than three minutes to get my car up on the tow truck. I was back before they even left the lot and they charge me 100 dollars to get my car off the truck. At the time I parked I didn’t even realize the store was still closed and was planning to go in and grab some beers after my errand. They would hear NONE OF IT.
It’s a real shame they allow these predatory behaviors outside of their regular working hours because it’s a nice liquor store, but I cannot give my money to a business that allows for such nonsense.
Small (refined?) selection, some nice staff, overpriced. For wine, go to the wine and cheese store on Lake Street and Grand in Minneapolis.
