I am a little disappointed. I ordered the Serene Paradise flowers and they ended up being more Bells of Ireland than anything else. I was hoping for a few more roses and tulips, which were the recipient's favorite flowers. Still a pretty bouquet, but less impressive than I thought it would be for the price.
Not only did Miss Bertha waste my time on the phone and wait to email me back, I now have to scramble to try and get other flowers arranged for the anniversary.
Kim was very helpful and made an amazing arrangement for me, while I waited. She patiently went through her entire display area with me, allowing me to choose purple blossoms and then skillfully arranged my choices. This was old-fashioned, courteous one-on-one service that made a lasting impression.
I have been selling my candles in their store for a little over a year. They are wonderful people to work with. Beautiful flowers at a very reasonable cost.
The day before the anniversary I got an email from them saying they would not be delivered until 3:30 the day I requested. MY GF LEAVES FROM work at that time, which would mean it would be POINTLESS to have the flowers delivered on this day for our anniversary.
I ordered flowers for an anniversary, the anniversary was 2-3 days away when I ordered the flowers in the morning. I asked that they be delivered in the FIRST HALF of the day, which seems reasonable right? I mean, I would like the flower recipient to at least to get to enjoy the flowers.
Updated---The flowers that I had ordered for my girlfriend's birthday were delivered sometime after she left for the day. This means that they probably showed up around 4:30-4:45. She received them the next day when she got to work, however they were wrapped in plastic and when she opened them everything was wet and soggy. They did look like they would have been nice flowers if they had arrived fresh and been uncovered immediately. The flowers lasted about a day and a half after being uncovered before they wilted and started dying off. It made for a negative experience to receive soggy flowers the day after her birthday and having them last for a little more than a day. The other negative reviews that I have read look to have been responded to and in some cases it appears that they either refunded money or tried to make up for the issues. I plan to call and see what they are willing to do. I will update again after talking with them directly.
I have to echo some of the negative reviews that I read today. The delivery seems to be a real issue. I ordered flowers for a birthday and asked in the delivery instructions that they be delivered as early as possible, so they could be enjoyed all day. I called at 3pm to see why they hadn't arrived yet and was told that they would be delivered around 4:00. The recipient only works until 4, so she may not even get them. I asked the employee that answered the phone if "as early in the day as possible" meant 4pm to her, and without any apology or anything, she said yes and that they don't do the deliveries it is a third party. She seemed to imply that it wasn't her fault, so it was just too bad. I was looking to find a florist that I could use regularly in the Minneapolis area, but unfortunately my search will need to continue. To be clear, I can not even comment on the quality of the flowers because they still have not arrived and I am afraid that they will probably be received the day after her birthday now. Very disappointed.
EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and DELIVERY SERVICE.
