I'm slowly transitioning to buying pet supplies online or from other pet stores around town. Customer service is just as important as prices and there's no reason to pay more money for mediocre (at best) customer service.
I'm not one for writing reviews generally, but I recently stopped by on a trip through Minnesota. I don't think I've ever seen where the customer service was condescending and rude. I believe her name was Kaitlyn, where she was interrupting and also rather rude to her fellow employee who looked to be younger, maybe in high school. It was my first time traveling through, and I will not be going back. Needless to say.
Old dogs, puppies, fussy pets, the staff lives for those welcoming interactions. They are brilliant at listening. And they know,from their own experience and amazing training how to help. They are the best trained retail folks I have ever experienced in my lifetime of owning pets.....more important, they truly care! Ask...you will learn a lot....Tell them what you think you need....you may welcome their encyclopedic knowledge of pet nutritician....

I used to only shop here for pet stuff, and reconciled paying their higher prices due to the helpful, friendly employees and solid management. Not sure what happened over the past year or so, but there seems to be a high turnover and the newer employees are generally unhelpful and/or unfriendly.
They will sometimes ask if you need help, but if you ask a question they often roll their eyes and give condescending answers.
Helpful staff. Guy named Greg is super nice and knowledgeable. Esp about up and coming dog products. Smaller than the other stores I've been in. Management must treat employees well as the staff seems to like being there.
