The people that work here are great! Not only are they very knowledgeable about proper shoes that fit your foot, they don't try to rip you off and make you buy the most expensive shoe they sell. I've been coming here for years and have yet to be let down. Great place for anyone to get a proper fitting!
I visited the Minneapolis location of Nokomis Shoes prior to a hiking/camping trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in CO. I'm so thankful that I did. The staff were all very helpful, especially Steve, and talked me through the best choices for what I may be experiencing and what my preferences were in a shoe. The recommendation of the Oboz hiking shoe for myself and my 11 year old daughter was the best thing. It really made a difference in making the trip up and down the mountain safe and fun for us. Great place to find little surprises. Like the caramels at the counter. I needed a hole punched in my belt. No problem for Nokomis shoes.
Best place to go for socks, shoes, boots and outdoor outerwear. Knowledgeable staff, good selection, quality products, decent prices. Sales are awesome. Skip the 6 pack of cheap socks that you'll need to replace in a couple months, my Vermont Tuff socks are nearly ten years old and have lots of life left. Great selection of gifts here, too, they really pack it in for lots of options in a small space. I dare you to check out and NOT buy the otherworldly caramels at the register.
