I have loved this museum since I was a toddler. “what was your favorite thing to see?” “The elephant pots” (right at eye level...) - many joyous memories and details over the years.
Who would have known that nestled inside the Twin Cities is a flipping CASTLE! Who would have taken it further to see that they could actually rent it for a wedding day? Crazy! This is easily one of the most beautiful venues we've been lucky enough to photograph. The staff did a wonderful job of maintaining a perfect blend of classy and elegant and the Bride & Groom had a stress free and gorgeous wedding day. Top notch!
Amazing woodwork. 11 Incredible ceramic fireplaces. Fun history for all to explore. Searching for Tomte during the holidays always a treat.
The last time I experienced this venue was 1965, while volunteering as a Girl Scout, earning a badge. I had a fabulous Christmas tour yesterday with guide and learned a lot! A friend and I ate at the cafe, prior, and were disappointed with the shrimp special sandwich.GREAT gifts in their holiday shops!
The Christmas displays were informative and visually very well done. I recommend going during the holiday season.
