We loved seeing "It's A Wonderful Life " on the big screen. Ticket prices were more than reasonable AND a discount was offered if you bring an item for the food shelf. Santa was even there and played the accordion as patrons entered and exited the theater.

If you're looking for a retro vibe, this is a great movie theater. It has a classic touched window and concessions, and a retro lobby. The theater is large, with standard seating and classic style seats. Tickets are only a couple dollars, and they get movies a bit late, so it's a great place to go see movies you missed or movies you weren't sure about spending a lot on. It's also great for family movie outings.

This place is an institution. With ticket prices that cheap you expect worn out upholstery and sticky everything, but this place is clean and comfortable. The aesthetic is really charming. It’s the kind of place you’d want to see Lawrence of Arabia in. Even the concessions are reasonably priced for a movie theater. It’s worth your time just for the experience of the old building, but you may find the great value will keep you coming back.

Low key artsy movie theater in a vibrant community. Come here for prize-winning foreign films, old blockbusters, the quirky and sublime. At very very low prices and the popcorn is really good.

Friendly helpful staff. Plan ahead, make time before or after your show to check out the gardening shop across the street. Next to that is the coffee shop which hosts live music some nights and displays local artist's artworks that you can buy.

This is the best film theater in the Twin Cities. Maybe anywhere. Fantastic prices on tickets and treats, and the best popcorn in town. The theater is decorated like it was when it was built but they have updated seats, projection, and sound. It's a fun place to be to see films. They open their doors for community events like when our sport teams are in championships. I usually see films by women and people of color on opening night, but I really like seeing them again at this theater.
