I know for a fact I will not ever return to this location based off of this experience and I will be telling my peers as well to steer clear of this store. Extremely disappointing that I had this negative experience at a brand that I have enjoyed for so long.
To elaborate, I came in after a Saturday night out and placed my order at 2:24am. Without a doubt, the store was busy, so I was prepared to be patient and wait a little extra time for my sandwich. However, I was not ready nor patient enough to wait a whole 25 minutes for my sandwich (received at 2:49am), especially at that hour. Now, if the workers had all been working their hardest and efficiently during those 25 minutes, I may have been more understanding, however, this was not the case. As a manager of a restaurant myself, I observed how the staff was working and it was, to put it lightly, horribly managed and a complete mess. No one was communicating with each other, one employee was standing around doing nothing for a good 15 minutes, one employee was flirting with a customer who was waiting on her sandwich, and there was evidently no manager taking charge to make sure things flowed smoothly. Every minute that passed, I became more and more irritated and disappointed by the whole operation.
Super fast service, same great quality, but the online menu says drinks are 22oz, when they are actually 12 oz cans.
They fixed my online pick order to delivery! Totally my fault but they got it done.
I decided that after I finally received my sandwich, I would wait until after the rush to bring my dissatisfaction up to the manager's attention. I didn't want to add extra pressure to the staff during the middle of their rush. So, around 3:05am, after all their customers were taken care of, I walked up to the counter and asked for the manager. Justin introduced himself to me as the manager and I explained to him how I had waited a whole 25 minutes for my sandwich and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I explained that not only did I pay for my sandwich, but also the speed at which I received my sandwich. He became defensive and started to explain to me in an extremely condescending tone that it was obviously busy and that I still received my sandwich, so I should not be complaining. He also had the audacity to ask me why I didn't bring up the issue right away when I received my sandwich. Like I stated earlier, I did not want to add more stress onto the staff in the middle of their rush. Justin did not offer me any sort of compensation nor a sincere apology for my lackluster experience and told me if I wanted a refund, I'd need to bring my sandwich back to him. All of his body language and attitude was extremely negative and made me feel extremely not valued at all as a customer. The service I received from the acting manager was atrocious.
The cashier asked if he could keep the change. Weak, jimmy johns.
Always great service, crazy fast delivery! I like the #12! Fresh veggies, avo spread is good! Veggie sub is good too and filling!
After reading other reviews, it looks like my experience is not far from the norm at this location. A couple things to sum up my experience - Absurdly slow speed of service, poor management of staff, and unprofessional customer service.
