Honestly getting pretty annoyed with the level of service. Every time I order from this location it takes at least 45 minutes. They only have 1 driver and 1/2 the time they are only on a bike. It shouldn't take almost an hour to get a sandwich when I live a mile away from the location. Not pleased.
The kicker is that they started streaming Game of Thrones in back and were streaming the audio over the speakers instead of music.
I love E&G, it's my simple date night with my boyfriend. We have been to 3 or 4 different locations in MN. This store however had terrible customer service and poor food quality. The soup was very runny, the sandwiches seemed thinner on portions and the bread was very dense (old). We came in at about one hour to close.
Friendly staff and good food. Pretty classic sub place, although their soup options are better than the other 3 (!) sub options in Dinkytown.
*update* it's been a total of 90 minutes since I ordered. I called to cancel the order and the guy just said ok sounds good. Didn't once ask why I was cancelling or anything. Definitely done ordering from here!
Be sure to take their loyalty card... who says no to free sandwiches?!
