Excellent place to gather
Women-oriented and muslim-oriented, very cool place to browse. They have a meeting space, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I bought s couple books on historic women, and have been meaning to go back for two books on history from a middle eastern perspective that I saw there. Very well stocked and organized Muslim history and culture section, but also small shelves dedicated to gardening, poetry, and used books.
A beautiful place that is not only a gem of independently owned bookstores but it is also a wonderful social gathering space with tons of intellectual & literary events.
Such a warm, inviting place to be! not only is it a wonderful place to gather but all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! This is my go to bookstore for any of my friends who love reading and works in translation.
