AAA License Renewal was what I have come to expect. Fast Friendly and accurate. In and out in fifteen minutes for my license renewal. I'll be back!
I just had oral surgery and chose to stop at the closest pharmacy afterward to fill my prescription. The woman who came to the counter did not give any sort of greeting and no smile or any kind of customer service anything.
This isn't a determining factor for me in terms of where I shop for affordable groceries, but of many of the Cubs I've frequented, this location seems to be the most in need of curb appeal and remodeling. I feel like I'm stepping into the 90s when I walk into this Cub. The parking lot is annoying to navigate.
No apology, no explanation, no attempt to clarify anything. Just rude on top of rude. If avoid that pharmacy if possible.
Many products that I can buy at other Cubs (St. Louis Park or the Quarry) are unavailable at this location. Examples include produce, brands of boxed granola, and artisan crackers. Many aisles and the produce department in particular are oddly laid out in comparison to other Cubs, making shopping inefficient at times. Regardless of the time of day that I end up shopping here, there always seems to be too few employees working the registers. Unfortunately, due to a recent move, this Cub is the quickest one to get to on my route home. Sometimes I go out of my way just to avoid this location.
For the pharmacy:
Good, meat is less than average. Vegetables good. Bread is terrible. Had an issue with me waiting for help at the deli while the employee at the deli tried to hustle the woman in line in front of me for a date. Actually a second woman was in front of me too. Self checkout lanes are a nightmare. The checkout software constantly tells you that you have put more items on the checkout scale than should be there. It tells you to call customer service over to help. Kills and extra 10 Minutes checking out.
Easy parking. With the Cub card you don't need to bring paper coupons. Though I prefer Aldi because they never have coupons or any other hoops to jump through.
I gave her my prescription and she typed for about 5 minutes without saying a word while I just stood there confused. I asked how much it would cost, and she said she couldn't tell until she rang it up. Then walked away and as she did so, mumbled something about how long it would take. Since she was walking away I could hardly hear her and it sounded like she said "60 minutes." I raised my hand and said, "Excuse me." She looked directly at me and just ignored me. She then talked to a co-worker, did something else, and still did not come over to the counter to respond. I had to walk over to another counter and tell her I wanted my prescription back. She said, "It will only be a few minutes." I told her it wasn't about the time, it was about the rudeness, and she said, "What?" To which I responded, "Rude, you're rude."
